Three versions, three meanings
The specification is a draft, already running in production with beta pilot partners. Draft-01.1 is an errata release of Draft-01: it corrects the published test vectors, test keypairs and documentation, with no change to the normative text or the wire version.
Three identifiers describe different things:
| Identifier | Current | What it describes |
|---|---|---|
| Specification draft | Draft-01.1 | The revision of the normative documents, on the main branch. |
| Wire version | 1.0 | The v field every envelope carries. |
| SDK release | 1.0.1 | The Python package on PyPI, which implements Draft-01.1. |
A package version does not by itself establish support for a draft with a similar number. Confirm behaviour against the specification revision and the conformance results.
Contribute
Review a requirement, report an ambiguity, propose a compliance profile, submit test vectors, improve an example, or build SDK bindings for another language. Start with the contribution guidelines and the contributor agreement.

Licenses by material
The specification, the interoperability artifacts and the software have different licenses. Check the one that applies before reuse.
Each SDK release under the Business Source License converts to MPL 2.0 four years after its release.
